Do I need to speak to my insurer first?
Yes. You’ll need to request authorisation for treatment and get a code before booking. Some insurers require a GP referral first, so it’s best to check with them directly before confirming your appointment.
Do I need to let my insurance know that I would like to book an appointment at Bodyset?
You will need to provide us your insurance policy number and obtain an authorisation code from your insurance company in order to book an appointment. All you need to do is speak to your provider and request authorisation for treatment.
Some providers require you to attend a GP appointment before providing your authorisation code, so make sure to double check this with your insurer beforehand.

We will make every effort to ensure that your account is processed by your insurer, however it is your responsibility to ensure that the claim meets all the necessary criteria outlined in your policy documentation.
If your insurance company does not settle your claim within 60 days of your appointment, or there is a shortfall, then the liability falls to the patient to settle the account directly. We reserve the right to take payment for all unsettled appointments at our standard self-pay rate.
