FootBalance & Orthotics
At Bodyset, we believe performance, recovery and confidence all begin from the ground up. But most of us don’t truly understand our foundation. The truth? No two feet are the same. Not even your own.
Up to 75% of us live with some form of foot imbalance, affecting how we move, how we feel, and how much we enjoy the activities we love. While a foot misalignment may sound minor, it can cause problems in other areas of the body, including back pain, muscle and joint pain, injuries, and other foot-related problems.
Not sure? FootBalance is backed by science, and is proven to help address foot and ankle imbalances to help reduce injury and support; giving a strong foundation for your whole body, both now and later in life.
Our FootBalance service gives you the insight and support you didn’t know you needed. In just 15 minutes, we scan, analyse and recommend a solution, helping you move better, stand stronger, and feel the benefits head to toe.

The orthotics can be moulded to your feet in clinic for you to try, if you don’t feel like these are for you then you are under no obligation to buy them, but if you do, we offer a 30 day money back guarantee if you don’t feel the benefits that FootBalance orthotics bring.
How do FootBalance Orthotics differ from Footscan & Phits Orthotics?
While both services are designed to help you move better from the ground up, they offer different levels of assessment, turnaround time, and orthotic type—depending on your goals and lifestyle.
Footscan + Phits Orthotics
Ideal for those who live active lives and want long-term support under high levels of movement and pressure. Footscan is performed while you’re in motion, providing dynamic insight into how your feet behave under load and impact.
This data is used to design Phits orthotics, a premium-grade 3D printed insole manufactured with high-density foam, tailored to your movement and suited to intense training. These orthotics are built off-site and typically take around 10 days to arrive. Perfect for runners, cyclists, and skiers working towards personal bests.
FootBalance Orthotics
A faster, same-day service built around accessibility and ease. Using a static 3D scan and biomechanical foot analysis, we evaluate your foot shape and structure while you’re standing still. Based on this, FootBalance orthotics are heat-moulded on the spot—ready for you to walk out in. Lightweight, flexible, and more affordable, FootBalance orthotics are ideal for everyday wear, with the added benefit of ordering multiple pairs for different activities like walking, skiing or running.

How do FootBalance custom orthotics work?
Unlike traditional orthotics, FootBalance orthotics are dynamic—supporting your natural movement, not restricting it.
Each orthotic features:
- A heat-moulded balance plate to align the foot
- Flexible materials that allow for natural gait
- Targeted support that helps reduce injury risk and muscle fatigue
They work with your body, not against it, improving posture, comfort and performance from the ground up.
How much does it cost?
Our FootBalance scanning service is part of a free consultation. There’s no obligation to purchase insoles after your fitting, but if you do, pricing varies by style, starting from £80.
What should I wear or bring to my FootBalance & Orthotics assessment?
If possible, bring the shoes you wear most often, such as trainers, work shoes, or casual footwear. This helps us make sure your orthotics support your everyday lifestyle.
