Charne Wilke
Clinic Manager & Senior MSK Physiotherapist
Charne has always been passionate about helping people and sports, and physiotherapy gave her an avenue to turn those two passions into a career.
She graduated with a BSc Physiotherapy honours from a South African university and worked for the government for a year before moving into private practice. It was there that she developed her love of MSK and sports physiotherapy which led to her completing a post-graduate sports physiotherapy course. She then moved to the UK in 2020 to a progressive private practice where she was further able to develop her skills in MSK physiotherapy. Charne has also completed other courses including how to manage and treat concussions, McKenzie level 1, taping and strapping, dry needling and Pilates.
Over the course of her career, she has worked in various sporting codes and different levels from grassroots to professional level including rugby, basketball, netball and various running and cycling events. She has also worked with adult and child athletes, helping them return to sports after acute injury.
In her spare time, Charne enjoys running, going to gym, hiking and being outdoors, traveling and exploring new places. She also loves cooking, baking and spending time with family and friends.
