Dhanishtha Advani

Dhanishtha is a Chartered Physiotherapist with a master’s in Sports Medicine from University College London (UCL) and a keen interest in MSK rehabilitation. Her interest in physiotherapy stems from growing up in a sports-loving family and watching her brother sustain frequent injuries while playing. This sparked her curiosity about injury mechanisms and ignited her desire to help athletes perform at their best while preventing long-lasting injuries.

Dhanishtha has expertise in working with with ACL injuries, guiding athletes through post-surgery recovery and training them to get back to peak performance. Her work with para-athletes in association with an organisation supporting para-sports has been especially transformative, deepening her commitment to promoting inclusivity in sports and exploring the role of physiotherapy in para-sports.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and documenting her adventures. She believes that exploring new places gives her a fresh perspective, which she carries into her professional life, always striving to stay inspired and motivated.
