Senior MSK Physiotherapist
Dimitra graduated from Metropolitan College in 2018, where she trained in MSK rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation and rehabilitation of post-operative patients.
She has been trained in SMT and has attended courses held by the American Academy of Manipulative therapy. Her training included High Velocity Low Amplitude Thrust Manipulation of cervical, thoracic, lumbar and SI joint and upper/ lower extremity for cervicothoracic dysfunction, cervicogenic headaches, lumbar and sacroiliac dysfunction and upper/lower extremity dysfunction. Her intention is to complete her training in dry needling and Pilates so she will be able to incorporate these techniques into her rehabilitation programmes.
Dimitra moved to UK in 2020 after being offered a physiotherapist role in the medico-legal sector, where she provided therapies to patients who suffered from whiplash and road traffic injuries.
She enjoys tailoring her rehabilitation programmes to each of her patients’ needs, and her aim is always to optimize their quality of life.
Outside of work, Dimitra spends her time exploring the countryside and landscapes.
