Isabel Steedman

Chartered MSK Physiotherapist

Isabel is driven by her goal to help people get the best out of their bodies. Whether this means running marathons or managing chronic pain through daily life. She loves the joy and freedom that physiotherapy can bring to people and feels honoured that she has the privilege of helping people achieve their goals and dreams.

Isabel studied her BSc in Physiotherapy at the University of Southampton and has experience of working in various MSK settings with a wide range of clients.

Isabel has previously worked in Outpatient departments, with 1-1 with patients as well as group Back Pain treatment sessions. She also has experience working with both adults and children with a wide variety of conditions, utilising a range of treatment options, including hydrotherapy. In addition to taking an elective module on pain, Isabel has worked with chronic and complex conditions (including chronic pain) during her time on geriatric and cancer care wards. This is an area of great personal interest to her.

Beyond the clinic, Isabel can be found in a small café with a book after a lovely long walk. She is a big fan of hiking and a budding Munro bagger. In terms of sports, Isabel is a fledgling sculler and desperately wants to be out on the river more than she is. Additionally, she is a skier and could be found on the mountains most winters as a child. Isabel also enjoys baking and tries to bake a loaf of bread at least once a week!
