Katy Gulcu
Senior MSK & Women’s Health Physiotherapist
Katy is originally from Turkey where she graduated as a physiotherapist and worked at the Istanbul Hospital and Turkish Military Rehabilitation Centre prior to moving to the UK. She has since completed her Masters in Advanced Physiotherapy Practice at Coventry University and gained experience in a private practices in London.
Treating a variety of patients, from sport-related injuries to chronic pain, has helped her to develop a broad range of skills. She loves working with people closely and creating personalised treatment plans using manual therapy, acupuncture, taping and rehabilitation programmes. She loves handling spinal manual therapy and shoulder rehabilitation patients in particular, and has an interest in running injury and gait analysis having completed specialist courses in the field. Katy also has a special interest in Women’s Health and has achieved postgraduate qualifications in Pre and Postnatal Care and Women’s Health.
A woman of many talents… Katy is also a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and is an experienced Pilates Instructor!
In her free time, Katy loves hiking, pilates and swimming.
