Andy is a Level 4 Soft Tissue Massage Therapist, ScarWork Therapist, and full member of The SMA, Association for Soft Tissue Therapists where he also holds a position on their board of directors.

A therapist for over 20 years, he has extensive experience of delivering in private healthcare, both locally in Newbury, Reading and London as well as delivering in high performance sport. This has included 8 years in men’s professional football at Premier League and Championship level. 7 years at the UK Institute of Sport with British Rowing, British Swimming, GB Hockey, and Team GB at London 2012 Olympic Games. This was followed by spells at The Wimbledon Tennis Championships, Surrey CCC and Man City Women’s FC.

Andy takes a combined approach to treating his patients, offering varied techniques to restore optimal movement and health and pain management. These include massage, soft tissue release, fascial release and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilisation (IASTM) to name a few.

In addition to this, Andy also treats patients with problematic scars following surgery including hip and knee replacements, ACL reconstructive surgery and Achilles tendon rupture with surgical repair. He has also treated several post-partum patients suffering scar pain, discomfort and tightness as well as improving the appearance of scars following Caesarean childbirth.

Andy really enjoys being part of a team and working together to achieve the highest level of patient care to support performance, rehab, and recovery.
